SLOVAKIA
My dear friends, at last I have been arrived to Slovakia. Due to my heavy luggage I decided to use my car for traveling the distance more than 800 km (cca 500 miles).
During the ride I passed some major Austrian ski areas (Innsbruck and St. Anton), still open, still plenty of snow. I've always flown over major mountain ranges, but until today I'd never travelled through them. The Alps were incredibly impressive. However I was glad to be in a warm car rather than the heaps of snow outside. After a few hours I reached Salzburg, the Mozart’s hometown which was full of sun.
SALZBURG
After 3 hours I was in Vienna and it was only 65 km to the Slovakian border. When I reached the hotel it was a deep night and in the morning I woke to the beautiful sunny day in Slovakia.
It is also very interesting that The Men's World Ice Hockey Championships will take place in Slovakia from 29 April to 15 May 2011.

Slovakia will host the event with games being played between sixteen teams in Bratislava and Kosice.
