yes, you're right. Early on a fall morning, a taxicab deposits Holly at Tiffany's jewelry store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. She eats a breakfast roll and drinks coffee while admiring the window displays, then strolls away for home. The old and great movie also due to Audrey Hepburn .
Audrey really was blue-blood from the beginning with her father, a wealthy English banker, and her mother, a Dutch baroness. Not related to American actress Katherine Hepburn. Have a nice day.
I have thought about both films, which I haven't seen for lots of years, and I think I like African Queen better. Humphrey Bogart was a drunk but in some way he made good and won her respect. That seems like a very honourable and selfless act to me.
The African Queen is more than a simple encounter between a man and a woman. It is a story of two very different people growing to love and respect one another after sharing and surviving severe hardships. The second movie was based on novella by Truman Capote, he wanted Marilyn Monroe to play the role. The story is of a woman on her own making her way in the big city - NYC. I think that two movie is very difficult to compare...
True, however my recollection of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' has Audrey Hepburn as a call girl chasing rich men, I thought she was quite shallow. Goodmorning Regina :)
It's hard to pick one that stands head and shoulders above the rest, and I like different movies at different times. Could you give me several and let me pick the one I like the most from a selection? Do you have a favourite movie?
Morning coffee is wonderful....having time to enjoy the smell and taste of coffee
OdpovedaťOdstrániťWould you like to have a coffee with me?
OdpovedaťOdstrániťYes I would, where would you suggest?
OdpovedaťOdstrániťmay it be the breakfast at Tiffany's...:-))

OdpovedaťOdstrániťIn African Queen was Katharine Hepburn born 12.5.1907 and Audrey Hepburn was born 4.5.1929 in Belgium...both very excellent actress.
OdpovedaťOdstrániťAhhh, I see, were they related?
OdpovedaťOdstrániťGoodmorning to you :)

Actually Audrey Hepburn's portrayal of Holly Golightly as the naive, eccentric socialite . However I loved Audrey Hepburn. She had got lots of talent.
OdpovedaťOdstrániťThat is probably the reason that the movie was liked so well.
OdpovedaťOdstrániťActually, which movie do you like most of all?
